9.00 Time to set up laptops, log onto wireless network, meet & greet.
9.15 A few interesting websites to look at while we set up: Some YOUTUBE favourties, Greek/Olympic sites, Enviro education sites...
9.30 INSPIRATION - Not just for mindmaping - Using INSPIRATION for assessment and learning tasks
10.00 TUX TYPING - great typing programme for children
10.15 GOOGLE EARTH - what else can we do with it beside find where we live!?!
10.30 ICT & the ARTS - How do/can we use ICT in our ARTS programme?

10.40 Morning Tea - Coffee, Tea & Cake Provided


11.00 SHARING TIME - use of video/movie making in our class programmes
- what are some of the ways we have used it? - great ideas? Time to share.
11.30 Movie Making 101 - getting ready - Digistore "Camera" diploma!
12.00 Getting organised to make our own movies - look at process, script, story board etc.

12.30 LUNCH BREAK - Bring your own lunch!


1.30 Movie Making 101 - Continue making our movies, look at editing.
Hopefully we will have time to see some finished products, if not, maybe next time?

1.30 WIKI's in the classroom with SIOBHAN PATTERSON (St Josephs)
2.00 A SNEAK PEEK look at some of those disks that arrive at your school - Active Schools CDROM, Ka Mau te Wehi CDROM & Kiwi Kidsongs DVD.
2.15 Using video from the web in your classroom - some other useful sources.

2.30 Sharing time - split into junior and senior to start with and then combine at the end.
